General FAQ's

What is Fiction Fest UK?

Fiction Fest is a multi-genre celebration of books, bringing together authors, publishers, vendors, and readers for a weekend of panels, signings, discussions, and bookish fun.

What can we expect at Fiction Fest UK 26?

A packed day of book signings, panels, workshops, vendor stalls, and exclusive swag. Whether you’re here to meet your favorite author, discover a new one, or just soak in the bookish atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.

Which authors will be there?

We’re inviting a wide range of authors from different genres. We’ll be announcing confirmed names as soon as possible. Keep an eye on our socials for updates or head to our Line Up page to see who’s been announced so far!

Is Fiction Fest UK just authors, or will publishers be there too?

We’ll have a mix! Expect authors, publishers, vendors, and more.

Can I buy books at the event?

Yes absolutely! Don’t forget to pick up any preorders before you leave the venue.

How many books can I get signed?

The guideline is 3 items per author. Please note that the level of personalisation may affect how many items an author is able to sign, and this is ultimately at their discretion.

You can bring your own books to be signed, or other items such as:
- Signing / Scrap Books
- Kindle case
- T-shirt
- Canvas
- Whatever can be written on

PLEASE NOTE: If the item you choose to get signed requires an alternative to a ball point pen, please bring it yourself, specific pen/brushes are not available.
We would ask if you have multiple items that you come prepared, sticky notes with your name on stuck inside your book is super helpful for our authors!

If I need to leave can I re-enter the venue?

Once you’ve been registered and have your lanyard, you can leave and enter the Venue whenever needed, you’ll just need to show your lanyard to security.

Will there be a venue map?

Yes a map of the overall event including Author table locations will be shared at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
